Five Fall Closet Staples

A little bit of a chill has shown up in the air! These Fall closet staples will have you feeling cozy, confident, comfy and stylish!

These staples are the basic pieces you will want to have in your closet to pair with other pieces you may already have, or purchase, to create a variety of outfits. So what are they?

Fall Staple 1: Let's start with denim!

Everyone needs that perfect pair of denim in their wardrobe...multiplied by like 3 or 4, right?! Denim has to be stylish, make the booty look good, and as I always say, it needs to be comfortable. If something isn't comfy, I am not going to ever wear it, so my pieces always need to be comfy!

I want my denim to be a really nice quality and it has to fit just right! I have found some great quality denims, but they are just so stiff and uncomfortable, they sit in my closet and thus were a waste of my money. I have recently found the perfect combination of style, comfort, and quality in jeggings! Not just any jeggings will do though! These jeggings are made with a high quality super stretch denim, and feature a waist shaping waistband. These beauties do not stretch out during the day and they stay up! They have the look and feel of quality denim, but have comfort comparable to leggings! It sounds to good to be true, but it's real life y'all! These are my wardrobe staple denim. I love them and you will too!

Fall Staple 2: Solid Leggings

I know, I just talked about my amazing jeggings, but there is room in any Yoga Waist Leggingswardrobe for leggings.  In fact, they are a must! Sometimes an outfit just calls for leggings! They are great with tunics and layering under dresses, or even with a long flannel or sweater and cozy socks and boots. Printed leggings can be fun too, but solid staples such as black or navy and gray are great to have, and even colors such as brown, olive, hunter, and red, depending on your wardrobe palette.

Fall Staple 3: Flannel

A flannel top is definitely a Fall staple! They are perfect with leggings and boots, like I stated above, with denim and your favorite graphic tee, or layered over a dress even. It is a nice lightweight piece you can pack with you for those days where it is cool in the morning and evenings, but warm through the day. There really are so many styling options with a flannel.

Fall Staple 4:  Cozy Cardigan

Squeeeaaallll! This may be one of my favorites! I love to be cozy and comfortable so a cozy cardigan is high on my list of Fall staples! Choosing an oversized or duster length style will create more versatility in styling. Also, I recommend choosing a style that can be paired up or down with many other pieces in your wardrobe to create multiple outfits. Some examples to pair the cardigan with include: Denim and a blouse, Denim and a tank, Denim and a graphic tee, sub leggings for a different look, layer over a dress, lounge with it in jammies! I just love versatility!

Fall Staple 5: A Lightweight Jacket

A lightweight jacket will be a great layering piece for those chilly days. Chose a basic color or classic print that you can pair with many outfits. Pair with jeans and boots, leggings and a tunic, or a dress!

Those are the main staples I like to have in my Fall closet! Great accessory items to have for Fall are boots, cozy socks, scarves, and lots of layering pieces!
